FWIW, Roadracing World is a good mag if you like good racing coverage, and if you don't mind limiting your bike reviews to mostly 600cc and 1000cc supersports. Naturally, the focus on the bikes' race and trackday worthiness.

It was a school charity drive that compelled me to re-subscribe to Motorcyclist. I last ended my subscription about four years because it's coverage was becoming less useful IMO.

I am a big MC mag fan but even I have to admit, this was the weakest issue yet. Agree with the thought behind the 3-bike test, WTF. Unfortunately I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that now days, about 2-3 companies own every magazine out there.

Have you noticed all Primedia mags look the same? Hot Rod and Motorcyclist are identical. In the case of Hot Rod they needed a total makeover. Front wheel drive Honda Civics did not belong in Hot Rod. I am glad to see they got back to their Drag Racing roots a little.

But in the case of MC, it was the best MC mag out there. IMHO - I subscribe to them all, and like all of them. You don't have to agree with them but no matter how bad the issue I get something out of all of them.

In this big world of Motorcycling its hard to have one magazine address all facets. MC does a pretty good job and going to Dirt Rider helped with this. CW trys to cover both which is tuff.

Anyway, as bad as that last MC issue was, it is hardly enough to make me cancel a subscription. Where has Gina been?
