looks like i will be leaving the san jaun islands and heading to LaPine oregon. any riders in the central oregon area? i will be looking for the good roads and good food. when i get there i will have a complete shop set up so if anybody needs help you can look me up. i will post directions later if anybody needs them.

You will not have any trouble finding some great roads in Central Oregon. If you are available to help other riders you should add your name to gypsy's FJR Assistance Directory.

I'm not near LaPine, I'm in Portland. But, I will certainly be thru central Oregon on a regular basis once the '06 arrives. Nice to hear there might be some tools in that neighborhood.

There is one forum member that is in the Bend area. His handle escapes me, but he's up on this board once in awhile.

Plenty-o-good roads down there. Most of the US Forest Service roads are paved in that area and make for some fantastic rides.

US 97 from Yakima on down thru Biggs Junction, Madras, Bend & on into La Pine is a nice ride - [unless the wind is screaming through the gorge].

I'm in Roseburg. There are a lot of great roads nearby. 138 from 97 to Roseburg; 138/38 from Sutherlin to the coast; 42 from Winston to the coast (my favorite). Let us know when you're here.

looks like july if i can get one of my propertys up here sold. the movers were here today and were shocked when they saw the shop but they said they would send me a estimate. i hope it gets done in time for WFO or i will be pissed.
