Are any of you guys reporting mileage figure running a PCII? It will make a big difference in MPG but it wont show up on the digital display

i am going to purchase one of these pretty soon and would like to know aht the mpg might be.
If it's gas mileage you're after?

Yamaha offers one of these:

Fuel Injected, liquid cooled, and 115 MPG.  :)

Average 33-38 mixed riding around Norfolk, VA (lots of stop & go).
Average 43-46 on the Interstate riding @ 80-85 mph.

I reached 230 miles on three tanks of gas last trip before I hit reserve - never put more than 5.2 gallons in either.
Not to hijack the thread...but my reserve bar starts flashing early, too. A couple of times it has just started to flash as I was approaching the gas station, and I only put in about 4.6 gallons. So is the tank smaller than advertised,or does the bar just start flashing early???

dont buy a bike because of gas mileage !

thats only a small part, have had an 1800cc vtx that I loved ,but with a small tank your always looking for gas.

have 3,400 miles on an 09,and ride it like it was stolen and still get at least 40 mpg, look at price styling ,looks, ergos comfort, cargo capacity, read all the comparos, the fjr will win, concours has more power, but thats not everything, have had five new bikes in the last five years and the fjr is the best one :yahoo:
