Greetings,

My buddy told me of a March 30th ride up Mt Lemmon. I am looking for info?

Greg

I love mt lemmon.....only prob is...the coppers are really enforcing the speeding on that hill. Last time I was there someone killed a bicyclist.

It's great for scoots, though. Beware of fallen rocks and don't go over any cliffs......talk bout pain if you do.

used to ride Mt Lemmon from U of A every Tuesday. of course that was on a Trek OCLV. Now thats a spiritual experience!

I love Mt. Lemmon. I've been to an Oktoberfest there....good time.

Isn't Mt. Lemmon considered the most southern or most southwestern ski resort in the US??

I like how the vegetation changes as you gain altitude.

Have fun on the ride if it indeed happens.

Whenever looking for a ride that has been discussed, or planning your own ride, may I suggest that you head straight for the Regional Ride Planning section of the forum?

For instance, in the Southwest section, just three topics from the top (and only two below your post), you would have found this little gem:

Clicky HERE young grasshopper for the path to Mt. Lemmon riding enlightenment!

I missed this ride last year, and unfortunatley will most likely miss it this year. Bummer. Should be a great time for those attending.

Young grasshopper is still learning where everything is on the board. I thank everybody for the help and understanding the not all noobs know right away where everything is.

Gregory

Are there lemon trees on Mt Lemon?
Damn Californian's, always after the technical information. Of course there are lemons on Mt. Lemon, thats where the first lemon tree was discovered. So they named the mountian after it. Thats how things are named.

Now have you ever heard of Big Bone Lick KY :p ? Bet you want to know how it got its name don't you :)
