It was not the N. Cascades but the sun came out around 1230 here in Snohomish so I figured I could hit a quickie over High Bridge and miss the school busses, well, no busses but just East a mile or two from the Cathcart store the perrenial road construction area actually had the sign folks out interdicting traffic. Putted past, figured O.K to go, and a bit down the road low and behold more signs and the PUD trimming trees! Well it is spring right! Shrugged it all off, after all the sun was out and no traffic, yea, well a few more miles and up pops the old prepare to stop signs, brush cutter ahead, you know they put these damn signs up FOR MILES eventually passed the tractor right in the curvy section and then it was downhill, over the bridge, across the flats and thru Monroe. No way going back HB so I came back the old Monroe/Snohomish road, which was not cluttered at all. The FYI here is spring brings out all the service folks on the back roads, not a good time to assume right-of-ways. Some spots the roads are reduced to one lane with a few barrels and a couple of stop signs. Ride safely.

I've got 8 days of riding to work already since Jan 1. Here in Bozeman.

Yesterday was 70 degrees, this morning had a little over an inch of snow on the lawn.
