Got the new new TracDynamics 240 tire/extension kit in. I took the bike in yesterday... supposed to be completed by next Tuesday.

The list of stuff they're doing: Installing new chrome extended swingarm with under-loop, new chain and chrome chain guard, Galfer rear rotor & caliper, Galfer custom "blue" front & rear brake lines, TracDynamics Apex rear chrome 18 x 8.5 wheel & front chrome 17 x 3.5 wheel, rear Pirelli Diablo 240mm tire, new front Pirelli Diablo tire, front off-set sprocket, Vortex rear sprocket (it's the schitz!), JDA Custom chrome billet mirrors (B-L-I-N-G) & a Power Commander III USB. :yahoo:

Already installed: '08 Scorpion slip-ons (polished), Schnitz Racing rear lowering link, Signal Dynamics headlight modulator, Kisan brake modulator, Sportech "blue chrome" windscreen, BMC street air filter, fender eliminator kit, Cox radiator shield, Pazzo race levers, chrome heel gurads, Heli-bar risers, SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock Tank ring, Venture Sportrack & a Whistler XTR-520 Radar/Laser Detector. Other than Grip Puppies, that's about it.

The chrome wheels REALLY bring out the silver color. Oh, I still have to clear it with the wife to store the bike in the family room... I mean, ya know, it might get cold in the garage ... and it is family! :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm poor now... but dayyammm, this is fun! :p

Dud you said you were selling the FJR, looks like you had better keep it as you'll be doing more cleaning than riding! Ask a old chopper dude.

Looking good looking good.

Idea for spotless riding:

No riding in the rain. No dusty roads. No nasty dirty backroads. Just to the top of my driveway & back. That about covers it. :p

Tires will last a long time, don't ya think?

Seriously, though, I had 2 Harleys... and I know about the "clean" thing. Guess I have to buy a little bottle of that waterless cleaner to carry in my pocket........................... NOT!

Damn, getting to the point where I have to wear sun glasses to look at that bad boy.

Like to give ya a little **** about the bucks you put in that bike but my duc has .. um .. just a few things done to it.

Noice!

Might be the camera angle, but in that one pic it looks like your rear tire/rim is WAY offset. If it is, have fun with that!

Okay! New pics. :yahoo:

1. New seat completed.

2. Undertail added.

3. Replaced the blue windshield with a chrome one.

4. Installed the blue pegs.

5. Painted exhaust pipe/pillion peg brackets chrome.

BLING! That sure is pretty! Glad I don't have to keep it clean and polished ;)

BTW, if the 'chrome' windshield has *any* metal in it, and if that is indeed a radar detector behind the metalized windshield --> you gonna get a ticket, 'cause the detector ain't gonna detect ****. At the very least the radar signal will be very weak after passing through the windshield.

That's a pretty sharp looking bike! What brand is that slider/TOG? For a semi-cage, that is one of the best looking I've seen, it really looks like it was meant to be there...

After looking at these pictures, I seem to have a vague attraction to men.

On a serious note, I bet those Scorpions sound awesome!

I've always liked that front end. Looks incredible from the rear!

How far back from stock does this set your wheel?

Don't hold back, Dale. Go ahead and say it! It's Iggy's fault anyway! :p

It's just a bling machine... man candy, so to speak (in a good way! ). The Scorpions are 'just' loud enough. I kinda sorta want to get the Roaring Toyz 4-2-1 side exhaust, but I'm afraid that it will be too loud.

It's time to get back to work on the FJR. Lots of re-wiring, installing brackets, GIVI top case, etc.
