My battery access panel

Did the factory mod and still cannot get the panel to "just pop on and off" what am I not seeing? (2013)

Kind of hard to tell without seeing your panel but mine doesn't "pop on and off", its still tricky to get on and off but at least its possible to do without having to mess with the center panel.

Did you cut it just like the pictures shown? It's important to get that "dished" curve on the forward right edge right after removing the tab.

Mine doesn't 'pop' either, installing it is easy once you know the drill: to install it start at the front, slide the panel in from the inner (left) side.

Fix the rear end last. Removing it is the reverse order: first the rear end, then lift it and slide out to the left side...
