Sorry for more bad news here,

But if any of you have a spare prayer left after all the **** that's happened this year,

please say a prayer for my friend KiwiMagic.

A true biker, he's a quad, been in a wheelchair for 37 years, since he broke his neck in a diving accident when he was 19.

One of those rare people that are full of great stories and impossible not to like.

Started building bikes when he was 12 and had a fit when I rode my FJR up the his driveway last year..

Said it was great but just way too high tech for him. But he did think it was beautiful.

But just give him a 650 Bonneville form the 70's.

We would sit and talk about bikes for hours, he really knows about Triumphs.

Anyway, after all these years, his body is finally wearing out and I'm asking for your prayers for him.

He never gave up, one of is friends is working on a trike for him using micro switches for controls.

Anyway, thanks for reading this and thanks for your prayers. His 56th birthday was Saturday.

Mary

All the best Kiwi. You're an inspiration to us all about the importance of living your life not just taking up space. Be well.

Thanks Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, and you, as he faces the time ahead. We pray that he will do so in peace.

I just checked my tank bag and whaddya know... I had some unused prayers and a bushel of good energy and spirit just waiting to be shared... it's funny... that part of my tank bag never seems to be empty! ;) Tell Kiwi to hang in there and open himself up to all the good things coming his way from all over the place!

Prayers being said for KiwiMagic.

I do admire people who rise above tragic circumstances, to get on with their lives. One of my most favorite patients at the hospital is a little boy who was hit by a truck when he was six. He's about thirteen now and gets around in a wheelchair that he drives by blowing into a wand. D is smart as a whip and a joy to be around. In regular school, he was awarded top student in his class. His parents get a lot of credit too, for turning their lives upside down to care for a quad, and doing a fantastic job of it.

From one buckeye to another, God bless you Kiwi, and you too Mary for sticking with a friend.
