I just spoke with the dealer (for the N-th time) and they told me that they just finished taking the transmission apart and they are now going to call the adjuster to see if the failure is covered under the warranty.

There must be some serious surf in the Pacific, it took them almost two weeks just to get to my car!!! Holy Cucking Frap!!!

Note to self: Self, dude, push or tow the vehicle back home next time, DO NOT leave it at a dealer near the coast, ever again. :angry03:
