Gunny Here!! For a few hundred bucks more one can pick up a '13. He's going to either drop the price or sit on that thing for a long while. Might as well right the thing!

I think the value of 2012's have tanked by $1000 to $2000. Anybody in the FJR market at this price point will want the features in the FJR 2013. The cruise control would make me a buyer of a 2013 if the choice was 2012 or 2013.

Skooter you need a 2013 before you pop big bucks on a Ohlins.

BIG difference in price betweens an Ohlins shock and a 2013 FJR. Besides, I would eventually want the Ohlins on the '13. I don't care how 'mo better' the '13 suspension is - it will wear out and is still not near as good as an aftermarket suspension.

And with so many bikes in his stable, why buy my own when I can crash ride mi ******* step-pappy's '13 FJR?

After riding his new 2013 FJR, Mi ******* step-pappy may find his 2013 FJR more desirable than his BMW leaving you to ride it or worse yet,at least for your plan, he may sell his BMW K1600 GT.

No Fontanaman, I'll never sell "Gisele" my BMW K1600GT. But SkootyG's right, he's welcome to ride "Naomie Harris" anytime he wants to!
