I decided to send my boots back to Daytona to have them resoled and I thought I would share how well they turned out. It was not cheap at $125 but I feel the quality of the work done, and the upgraded soles will last much longer than my original soles. I wish I would have taken a before shot too but I did not think of it at the time. I am still going to pick up a new pair of boots this year but I wanted to have a solid back up pair of boots if I need them.

Are they still waterproof (assuming they were in the first place) ?
They were water-proof Gortex when I bought them and they claim they will continue to be water-proof. LINK That is the main reason why I decided to pay $125 to have it resoled by Daytona.
