Why would you wanna look like a cop? Just curious...

A friend and I both rode Yamaha Royal Star TDs about 10 years ago. His was black and white and

he wore a white 1/2 shell helmet with the black leather curtain. That and the black leather jacket

and he was king of the road. Rarely was passed but many cages would slow way down when they

would first see him.

It's a safety thing... You are much safer if they think you are a cop..

Besides, I think he is a cop...maybe a retired one. If I liked black and white, I'd be tempted to paint mine a "little like a cop bike. Just to gain a little more safety on the super slab.

Of course in some of the areas I pass through, once they figure out you are NOT a cop they are so mad they would pull up beside you and shoot you!

I once attended traffic school taught by a retired CHP officer. He proudly announced he had done 25 years without an at fault accident. Very commendable. However, I couldn't help thinking, "It's a lot easier in a Black & White as long as you exercise good defensive driving technique.".

Yah I am active Traffic Enforment / Collision Investigator. I am building this bike to honor two my fallen partners. I will eventually use the bike for off duty movie jobs.

However, this A Hole Rock and Roll fucked my bike up. Broken fairing, bad paint job, mission bolts and fasteners. They lied day after day. My only course is to taken him to small claims for the damages. $1850 is los of money for me. I am a hard working COP not family benefited rich brag.

My wife is still telling to forget about it and just ride. She is very passive, but I am pissed up everytime I look at this bike.

This ass hole yelled at (lots of F-words) me in front of my family and a friend. I can not forgive this fucker at all. He needs to understand that he is not GOD.

Meanwhile I have to find another painter to fix the problems.
