Congrats Dan!!! :yahoo:
You are my hero. :D

I'm not sure I could pull it off, but it would be fun trying.... I think.

Awesome accomplishment you seem to have done it at an easy pace and you had 6 hours to burn. Most excellent!
It wasn't really that bad. I had an early start and had planned to be at the halfway point by 11am and I was there by 9. So after that I knew I had plenty of time and I did make alot of short stops to stretch the legs on the second 500 miles. Plus once you hit that 500 mark it becomes easier for some reason. I prefer to do rides like this alone and stop when I want and ride my own ride. You can do it.

I am almost ready for another set PR2's. I put the current set on in April but they are at 8000 miles and looking worn. I can probably squeeze another 1000 out of them. Glad I got that Nomar :D

Hmmm, my parents live in central Fla. I haven't visited them since last July when I flew down and picked up the FJR. I'm sure I could figure out a route to get the extra 100 miles to get to 1000. Or maybe go for 1500 and visit my daughter in Pompano beach first.

Woo Hoo :yahoo: Time to start planning the next one.

Sweet! I am still waiting for my nice message like that. I did it a month or so after you so we will see. Ready for the next one as well!

Hum.. I did mine nearly a month before yours and I haven't heard a thing. Congrats!
