I like it! Brought MsDcarver in, my fashion designer, she liked it too!

Very nice - simple changes to make the bike 'yours'.

I use dirt to make my bike 'mine'. LOL.

The wheels was black. I painted it blue along with the mirros aswell + the entire black dash also.

Ok here is my reasons for the "R" & the "Sport" stickers. I get lots of young & old people saying it's an old man's bike, but once the big road is hitting i ride the **** out of R1 & other few bikes. The FJR is not ashame to use it's talent. It piss people of that own R1 etc if they see my "R" & "sport" stickers etc.

It's only to mock em LOL. + i enjoy it, if it looks a bit over done it's fine. It's every second worth it.

My next step on the bike is the following.

Wave disc*

Braided Hose*

Elimenator kit with hugger*

FJR Writen Grips*

I will you this once that is on my bike.

& yet again thans for the good comments.

I guess I'm overblinged as well? :dirol:

Ah great / great. we both must hock up. We have an ultra custom inside of us :yahoo:

I like it! Might you have a vuvuzela you can spare?

Scott

LOL for what?
I think they are attempting to be humorous. All in fun., we all have our own opinions on how our own bikes are equipped. I like a little flashiness. Others keep things original, Some are more utilitarian. never the less, we all certainly have a deep appreciation for the FJR. It fits my needs so well. I am sure yours keeps you happy. DR

It does, but lately the hayabusa is ghosting me!

Well said, that's what bikes are all about - do your own thing; be an individual.

The common thread is the feejer; we all share that, but if you don't like it, don't look at it!

I appreciate the detail and the work that's gone into it - doesn't suit my task, long distance bug-smashing in Oz!

But it makes me real happy to see something like that.

100%!

Gonyer, mate! (that's an oz-ism as in 'good on yer, mate!)

Rob

Very unique character added witht the color and stickums.

Really morphs the bike more to the sportier side, than touring side.

So that just makes it more versatile than most other bikes...being it's a Super Sport Touring bike.

Great paint job.

Naw.

I checked the rule book and for Whittier, that's just about right.
We used to cruise Whittier blvd. back in the 70's in my Duster, Wish I could do that now on my Bling Bike. DR
:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

If it was the later '70's, we probably raced. :p 1971 Datsun 240Z with a '67 327 Chevy / Turbo 400 combo.

Oh yes, from the intersection at Beach Blvd where "Stick City" was, west all the way past the Whittwood Shopping Center before it was an enclosed mall.

I remember when the Man started prohibiting left turns along that entire stretch. Does that area still serve as a "cruise" these days or just drive-bys?

It was 1976, 77 , I remember a z with a V8 cruising around. My brother used to cruise in his 1975 Datsun Lil Hustler, Lowered Fender Flares, Spagetti tubes and Cragers. All pinstriped by dennis jones in whittier.

I had a stock Duster with a 318, I welded a cherry bomb exhaust on in auto shop, Used to have Boston or Queen blaring out of my Craig cassette (under dash) All purchased from JC Whitney.

There was a hamburger joint on the corner of Ocean View and whittier we we mostly scouted out for chicks too.

HAd a buddy with a LUV truck where he stuffed a 283 chev engine in it too.

Now Nobody cruises at all, Nothing. Once in a while some cruisers go to uptown on greenleaf, But mostly Harley Guys with those ape bars, A couple of years ago, I went up there on my Vespa and was surrouned by bikers who would not move out of the way, My daughter who was hanging out with friends came over and told the bikers to move and leave my dad and his scooter alone. They moved. My Daughter is badass. I love her. Oh crap off topic, Anyways thats the lowdown on Whittier. dr
