My Fjr Is Finally Here

My FJR showed up at the deater yesterday afternoon. I am picking it up this afternoon if the rains don't stop me. It is raining lightly right now and is supposed to rain heavy this afternoon. The dealer is about 60 miles away. Not sure I want to take my first ride in the pouring rain. At least it is suposed to be better weather tomorrow and hot and sunny on Sunday.

Congrats Geez ! I've gone through this twice now on the FJR so I know how excited you are. Hope the rains give you a break so you can get her out on the roads where you both belong !

Thanks to all you responded. Working from home as I usually do on Friday but I'm not getting much work done today thinking about the bike. The rain seems to have stopped for the time being and the sky is getting a little brighter, or maybe it's just teasing me. I'll let you all know how I like it after the weekend.

stef - the new tire issue is the reason I am hesitant about picking it up today.

diesel - I ordered the bike in mid- May and the dealer said late delivery would probably be late June. Only missed by 8 days.

zorkler - I'm in Shandaken NY, in the Catskill mountains. The bike is across the Hudson river in Poughkeepsie.
