So I went down to Missouri last week to visit Smitty and look what followed me home. Can I keep it Mom? :p

Not a good idea for a Friday...

Looks like you're gonna have a nice iron butt machine there griff for your terrorizing of the LD circuit.

Watch out...I may need to "borrow" it for a future 2-up trip. ;)

Are the mufflers scraped from Smitty using it?

Nice bike. Lotsa power. Handles well for its size. Lots of creature comforts I like - multiple audio sources AM, FM, XM radio, MP3s off of a flashdrive. Quieter and cooler than my 03 FJR. Smitty has done a nice job on the pegs, I doubt if I will add to the wounds.

oh man that's exactly the trap I think I've fallen into. Wife and I rented one for a week this spring and it looks like a new one is in my future. "Honey, when are you going to get one"???

What year is it? Which grade did you get, one, two, three, or four? See what I mean? I already know this stuff......

Made the mistake at Oshkosh of visiting the Honda tent and sitting with Karen on one.

Smart girl likes the Super Tenere and says it's a keeper, but the hand writing is on the wall for rentals and down the road....

;)

One reason I got it is to try and get my wife to ride with me again. Before we were married we rode a lot on a 75 Gold Wing, the first year model where you couldn't find squat for touring accessories. This one is a 2012 - Smitty put 20K on it. It's the level one - no nav system, abs or airbag. I kinda wanted an abs model, but they bundle the abs and nav system together and I wan't too impressed with the nav system. I like my standalone Garmin. This one was a demo in 2011, so Honda added an extra year warranty, so I have three years warranty from right now. Just learning how to do things on this bike, like changing the rear tire. The easiest way to do it is lay it on its side on the crash bars and pull out the rear tire  I even bought an extra wheel and dark side tire from Smitty so I can dip my toe in that water if I care.

Hey griff congrats on your new ride...Are you riding it to HOOTERVILLE in October??
We'll see. Maybe it would remember the same lines Smitty took it through down there, so I could put it on autopilot. :p

Wait until you blow by some punks on your Wingabago-it's so fun  . I have rented them a few times, awesome machine. My wife says I can get one when my 04 Feejeer wears out and with only 86k on the clock it will be a while before we have a wing.

Nice looking bike there! I sure hope you get her to ride with you.

Our gw sees daylight every few weeks since getting the feejer. The new Russell heated seat made all the difference in her riding comfort.

Again, congrats :yahoo:

You silly *******s!!! When are you getting the walker griff? :p

Ya know...... that silly ******* tried to tell me several times he was selling the wing. I didn't believe him! I can't believe he sold it. After buying extra wheels, a couple of trailers, and who knows what else for it. I mean, he didn't have it THAT long. Even for HIM. The nutty *******.

So what's it like having sloppy seconds on the Great White Sperm Whale?
