....or else stand on the left peg while mounting as Bounce mentioned. The latter requires you trust your side stand to take the weight.
I thought of that. Just as your full weight forces straight down at the right peg, the the bike comes up slightly at the side stand while you have a seat. I use the right peg/right leg and swing left leg over/through.

[forehead slap] Brilliant!

Same reason I have the spousal unit mount from that side. It would just take some getting used to getting on from the "wrong" side, I suppose.

Now the negatives- I use to be able to flat foot the K16, no problem. Not anymore.

- If you have a bag (or something) strapped to your rear seat... hooking your leg up n over (to mount the bike) becomes a BIG chore. It's a left leg swivel-twist and right leg up-kick and over. Getting better at it, but I'm 6-4, I can't image a smaller guy doing this.

Really?? I got on and rode that thing in flip flops and shorts. I even tried the slow ride with it and stalled. Got a toe down before I restarted and then went on. Of course, before I did I turned to Mike(WineGuy) and said, "Hold my beer. Watch this!"

Thought you said Debbie didn't ride with you because of the Fugly seats?
She rode the shorter rides with me, FJR or K16. She just didn't like the looks of the RDL's when I put them on the K. I think her words were "you just wrecked one sexy *** bike!". Main problem, she hasn't been previously (softened-up to) introduced to the RDL look. If she has seen them on other bikes, she hasn't paid attention (not like us guys would anyways).

Boo frickin hoo. If she doesn't ride long enough for it to matter, does she get a "vote"?

Ok! I just have to agree on this one. Bounce gets it. :)

NO!

But then again, I might get the "No" later as well :(

It's funny how the world revolves around womenz and how crazy they make us, but yeah... I guess ;)
