Wanted to put a Ham radio ant on the FJR. Had just gotten a GIVI rack for a SHAD topbox. Had an old desktop computer shelf that attaches under a table to use for parts/fabrication.
So far it works great though I will keep an eye on the antenna attachment point to make sure it doesn't start to crack due to flexing.
The original end cap looks cheesy. Maybe I'll take a sharpie to it. Wasn't sure if the paint would stick.
Yes, a healthy ground strap!
