Bought this about a month ago. Dirt bikes are just like a FJR. You can spend thousands on extra's. And I did just that. This is what a $11,000 dirt bike looks like. I just wish I could have had a bike like this when I was 20 years old and racing every weekend,...

This thing is like a 17 year old girl..Barely legal...

It is plated, and that makes it nice for trail connecting and a trip to the car wash.

The coolest part is the Skinny Dave sticker.. RIP..

Enjoy...

Sweet! And impeccably clean like the rest of your bikes and garage. I thought a little smitty would rub off on me hanging out at your garage last October, but I guess it doesn't work like that. I must have lost the inspiration somewhere on the way home.

Aint' light (sub 300 lbs.) dual sports fun? Looks like the only option left to buy is a larger brake pedal as your stock one appears to be as tiny as my Beta OEM postage stamp. Very nicely farkled!

That looks exactly like what I don't have.

Did you buy it tag legal or convert? How many hoops do you have to jump through in MO?

Nice!BTW, 17 year old girls and plated dirt bikes are both illegal here in California.

I live so close to Arkansas, you can marry your 17 year old first cousin..(just kidding Rushes) Plating a dirt bike is so easy here. One reason I deal with tornado's, snow and cold weather. Plus Nancy Pelosi doesn't live here, and my dirt bike plate cost me $16.00 for two years..

Convert.. not factory legal..

Bikes less than 5 years old do not need a inspection. I could have did nothing except tell the lady at the DMV.. I would like a plate please... I did add a combo switch, horn, mirror, and a brake light switch. You don't need turn signals here in Mo. Cost around $100. bucks

I like to add this stuff in case a cop or Forest Ranger would stop you. It does not have DOT tires, but I will just take my chances on that. I have been stopped before and the cops always have that "I got you now" look on there face. But when I show them my insurance card and registration.. And I get "have a nice day"..

Even if it is a older dirtbike it is just as simple. Just add the minimal equipment, and get a safety inspection and pick up your plate.

So you had an off road mso titled?

The paperwork down here is the hard part. There's no inspection.

I have several vintage bikes that are bound up by papers.

I may have to live with my MO relatives for a bit.

Yes, I always title a off-road bike. I received my title yesterday and it said 2 wheel on it. That is a street title here in Missouri. I have had titles come back with a dirt title, but you can still plate them if they pass a safety inspection.

Easy as can be..
