Even that doesn't guarantee success - we were together 2 years (officially living together for one of them) and got married at 35 . . . .

You know, the absolute truth is that if I'd known what she was like and her history BEFORE I married her, I probably would never have done the deed. She drove away most of my then friends, to boot.

They are so desperate to get married that THEY are on their best behaviour - they hide the fact that it will become their mission in life to change you, and if that doesn't work . . . sue you for divorce.

C'mon, be honest. The real reason for the divorce is that she loves the Zumo 660....

Married 46 years. Started dating in1957. Married to my best friend. Grew up together. Don't know that this happens much anymore?

Ah, another divorce thread. Always good for a lot of mileage. Went to dinner with some friends last week, and once the subject turned to divorce, I knew it was over. We didn't talk about anything else after that. Everyone at the table had a story, myself included.

Good luck to Nick. At least it's almost over (we hope).
