I cant believe that anyone with any kind of mind would let you get your hands on live ammunitions.
You know what happened on your last escapade with Magnesiuiom.

Do I need to come down there and slap some sense into your silly assed Brain, or can I contract that out to a lubber eating |Seal killing Oranginatmoe Lord Odot!
Brother Don if you are driving all the way to Owosso from Alberta to kick Barry's ***, I strongly suggest you pack for a week: Since Bust is all ***, it is going to take you at least seven days. JSNS, eh!

Cool thread - I don't know anything about guns, but I did shoot a Bushmaster AR-15 once with all of the goodies and a box of shells went bye bye like a fart in the wind.

I did a little manual milling back in the day - handy piece of equipment to have, especially with the electric table feed.

Just a suggestion - get the kid a pair of safety glasses. Don't want him to poke HIS eye out. Cheers.

So we took it and a handfull of handguns out to play today... This was my first time with an AR.

Oh HELL yes daddy is getting himself one of those toys!!

What a smooth ride it was.
wasn't the best weather, cold, windy, with rain snow mix tossed in, but we had a great time tossing brass on the ground.

As the 1911 didn't care for the Aguila ammo the po tossed in, I left it in the deep water creek. I never managed a full 8 shots without it jamming. Switched over to the winchester and dumped 50 rounds without fail.

My little ruger mk ll played nice as could be as always, and the Springfield put a smile on my face as always.

Accuracy wasn't our concern today as I said the weather sucked. Just a chance for my son and I and a buddy to blow off a little steam.

I put a new scope on my AR so Friday myself and a couple others are doing a AR and 1911 day at the range. Two of the most fun weapons built. I've got two AR's and four 1911's to play with now.

Bust - my X/D seems to jam often with that cheap laquer coated ammo (Monarch and Blazer brands to name a couple). Being the cheapie that I am, I can afford an occasional jam when I'm plinking, though.

Where do you go to shoot?

Yeah it wasn't a huge deal with the jamming but every mag had at least one. The xd was happy with the Winchester as was the the 1911.. At least now I know one brand to avoid.

A buddy a few miles to the north of us has a sand pit of sorts.. Been shooting there on and off for 15 years.
