We just bought this bike for our son. It was our nephew's race bike last season...he now has the all new 2010 CRF-250R. We just got done installing new graphics provided by www.decalworks.com They are a main sponsor of our nephew.

Needless to say, our son is totally stoked about his new bike! "Sick" was the quote. He is chomping at the bit to go riding with dad. Hopefully soon!

Happy New Year!!

Thats a good looking machine. I think one of the best skills a kid can learn is dirt bike riding. You have good taste in trucks too!

How old is your son? That's a mad fast bike!
He is 15. He has been riding for several years and is on his fourth bike. We started on a TTR-125L, CRF-230F,CRF-250X (I sold my 450 and now ride the 250X. It is more fun for the old fart to ride!) and now this 09 CRF-250R. He hasn't raced yet, but is wanting to do some C class this summer.

We have a blast on dirt bikes and it's how I started out (Hodaka Dirt Squirt). It is a good foundation of riding skills and helps to keep my overall riding skill up.

He always rides with full gear and we have a Leatt coming for him as well.

Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!!

HawkerPlt, waaaay cool! I get it! Keep riding dirt to stay young and to stay on top of your street bike game, Dad!

Hey Hawk,

Been racing out of Columbia, MO for many years. My son advanced to the pro level and now only runs a few of the State series races and some fair races to make a little mad money. Let me know if you want some local race info and suggestions that may help your son should he decide to begin racing.

Good luck,

Mark
