NAFO and Pikes Peak

Thunder showers are usually in the afternoon so go early. When I was a kid we used to hike up Pikes Peak on Cutler trail, out of Manitou Springs. One year in July we hiked into a snow storm. If I am fortunate enough to make NAFO I would enjoy joining in on a ride up Pikes Peak.

Ive read there may be a problem with anti lock brakes downhill on gravel, any experiance? Other bike forums say to dis-able antilock on gravel down hill.

I RELY on my ABS coming down a very steep gravel hill from a place I frequent. Works great. But I'm no expert.

Not that I know of -- should not be much of a problem on this road as I can't see why one would be getting on the brakes that hard to even know. I sure did not find out, but I think that I've rather have ABS than not on the gravel.
