Holy Smokes and Gee Whiz.

As NAFO Ride Coordinators plan the day rides I get to re-visit some of the best riding I've ever done. Both in Rally's, scouting for bonii, and just plain old riding, few states give me wood like Colorado.

We have some short, medium, and longish day rides for folks of all riding abilities and motivation. Of course we have the IBA 1,000 mile ride as well, but that ride is on a whole other level.

NAFO attendees can expect to see the Rides page on the NAFO site updated within a weeks time.

Put plastic on your chair folks, ya'll WILL cream your pants.

I think I got GZ excited today based upon his post. I sent him and fjrchik a couple of long routes (but awesome I might add) and am working on a few shorter routes. I included GPS files of the routes, a few photos, turn-by-turn directions, and a summary.

Be sure to submit YOUR favorite Colorado rides!!!

NOW we're talking -- the taste of Colorado ride looks like it includes the passes I won't otherwise get to sample going and coming. 'tween that and maybe the Pike's Peak ride, I think my riding calendar will be full on Friday and Saturday.

Thank you!!

A good thing to do on a cold Colorado day -- build a couple of more rides for NAFO.

Holy BeJEEZUZ Ya'll.

DaveT has the BOMB ***** all Reddy and Re-Conned.

Between his LOCAL knowledge and the experience of our ride planners, the published rides for NAFO are officially "Off the Fookin' Hook!"

Keep your peeps on this section in about a weeks time. Ya'll 'bout to get your minds blown.

Old Mike.

Being "hip" in the vernacular sense is an on-going process of decision and refutation.

I recommend you refute more.<G>

Been tippin' into the tub again, eh G?

So wasn't there rides posted in here a couple of hours ago?
I had originally included the summaries that I had written, but the Ride Committee wants to hold off and publish all of the information on the rides on the web -- should make a big impact. I'm not sure what all they are doing, but I've given them some good information (sometimes I'm even anal :D :D with these kinds of things) on 4 rides. Still have about 3 more to do and send to GZ. I think that when the rides are posted they will get the juices flowing. Once they are there others might have additional rides to be included -- good to have lots of options with folks doing lots of different kinds of rides!

Indeed, you have! Just trying to keep things in one place and not scattered about. Further, once all the rides are posted with maps and maybe even GPS files (wink, wink; nudge, nudge), you folks will start forming merry bands of touring fools and set up your group rides. Best to have the full pallet from which to choose, then.

Do you GPS folks look at paper map people like I look at people with checkbooks holding up the 15 or less items line at the Safeway?

(Should there be a comma in there?)
No, I just kick their canes and push 'em outta the way. ;)
