Eric, my Son, and I are heading out tomorrow for an extended loop from eastern OK to NAFO. My FJR and his Goldwing will visit all possible POI in Wyo, Montana, Idaho, B.C., then come back thru Seattle area, and ride the PCH down to Redwood Forest (if the fires are under control). Then east thru Reno and Salt Lake to Golden by July 23. Maybe we will see some of you guys and gals on the Great American Highway. Later. Phil

Don't let the forest rats scare you, but ya, we have a TON of them in BC.

If you want some ideas of some good twisty routes thru southern BC, lemme know!

Wow. Sounds like it is going to be one hell of a trip through some of the best scenery in the west.

I'm jealous.

Enjoy, and have fun. And make sure to give your son tons-o-crap that his dad has the sporty bike, while he has the geezer-glide.

Yeah, ain't that a wicked twist of fate?

Based on latest weather map for northern Kawleefornia, we may reroute thru Glacier Park, and Bearly Flying's area (Calgary) before BC, but come back thru central Oregon (Crater Lake). My asthma does not need the smoke.

Phil,

If you decide to go through Glacier park The Going to the Sun road is still closed due to snow.

At that elevation? Not a huge surprise. We might all see some snowcap'd mountains near RNMP or Pike's Peak if the routes take us there.

Well Phl that is a fine how do you do about California not ( Kalifornia ) Besides we have pure Oganic smoke non threating and breathable.

By the time you come through Cali the fires most likely will be out or 90% contained .

I just may see you on the 23 heading to SLC for NAFO if you still route that way any way have a great trip
