I felt the same squirreliness on my 08 last weekend. Luckely, I was exiting the freeway. Ended up pulling over next to a Yamaha dealer and pulled in. Upon futher examination, had a 2" long tapered piece of shrapnel aluminium in my rear tire. The dealer didn't have the tire in stock (of course), but after a couple of days and a new BT 021 (less $228), I was back on the road.

I've never had a flat on a m/c before. My FJR only had 750 miles on the clock. :glare:

I guess it could have been worse!

Ride safe,

X

Plugged into the cigarette lighter? The one in your glove box? With a 3 amp fuse? :(
I have a direct wired electrical connection with an ample size fuse to handle the needs of my compressor. I will, however, take this as a prompting to plug it in and double check..... ;)

Yep, 3 amp fuse...should have checked the rating on the cigarette lighter & read the box prior to use. The compressor needs a 15 amp fuse. So, lesson learned there.
