Correct, Gilman tunnels it is. I'm directionally dyslectic. That's why following me is always an adventure .Gilman Tunnel on NM 376 is my guess but thats more NW than SW so I'mm likely wrong.
Take it away!

I got this. I love the guessing part but hate the picking part.Abercrombie, are you taking the next one? I am seeing this in a parking lot because of the Nashville bombing. We have had no cell or internet since noon Christmas.
You got it! Funny thing is I took this picture five years ago but couldn't remember where or what it was. The picture was from my 2015 SW-FOG Cedar City UT trip where we dipped South into Pheonix and hit the South Rim before meeting up with the SW-FOG folks.Desert View Watchtower at the Grand Canyon South Rim?
Nope. It's in the Northeast of the US. The ozarks are very flat in comparison to the height of this area.Hmmm, Lake of the Ozarks?
Sorry HPPants. You're right that it looks a lot like Cadillac Mtn. On this trip we went to Bar Harbor the following day. But this is over 100 miles west and a great view of another area. I can't remember who recommended this road and the overlook to us, but we found it very peaceful.I think I got this. Cadillac Mountain, Arcadia National Park.
Full disclaimer - I checked the internet before my guess, but you'll have to agree that I had to know what to search for.
I've been to this place and I recognized it as soon as Goodman posted it. The "northeast" clue sealed it.
