I have been watching the national trials riding competition on MAV TV lately and marvel at the control these guys (and gals) have over their machines. I was able to get myself and brother up to the last round of this series in Truckee Sunday to take photos. If you ride a bike (and you do) you might enjoy getting out to one of these if they come to a town near you.

A few of my favorites;

The pros in this sport are a lot like the pros in road racing... aliens from another planet.

Great photos. Who is the lady?

Brad, mi hermano tried to lure me up there to catch the action on Saturday. I wish I'd gone.

He claimed I'd be shaking my head in amazement at what these guys (and gals) can do on two wheels.

I won't miss it next time.

...And has anyone ever told you that you get remarkable results with your camera thingie? :clapping:

Thank you.

Started trials as a kid. We moved to Germany when I was 8 and I never rode them again. My dad still has a few bultacos in the garage. Those guys are freakin mountain goats!

Great shots. I dl a bunch of trials events from Europe and I've seen one of the big names in person at the Cycle World show in Atlanta ('04 IIRC). These guys drop more talent in the can every morning than I've ever had!

Very cool Brad. I have a great deal of respect for the balance of these talented riders, not like OM dropping his bike on every other ride.

I had a 1975 Kawasaki Trials 250, very cool little vintage bike.
