Paint it CLEAR.
Then you could see the engine.
Clear does bring up an interesting point, on the other hand, common sense would dictate International Orange. The German motorcycle company used a dark metalic green (Boston Green) on their sport-touring RT in 1999 and it looked great with silver accents.

I will wave at you regardless of the color, if I see you.

Depends on what you want. A new paint job is going to cost a few (thousand) bucks: if you are hoping others will admire it I am pretty sure camo is not going to get it done.

Clear! It can be done... :thumbsupsmileyanim:

For more fun and really brings out the man in you...

Front view- black

Right side- pink

Left side- camou. You pass on either side depends on the situation.

My vote:

A "Famous Monsters" theme with the old B&W classics... mummies, frankensteins & cabled japanese paleolithic gargantuans.

Food for thought, I saw an old (1980's) Yamaha Venture down in Arkansas a few years ago that had been painted with Rhino Liner truck bed paint. Fella said he had many spider cracks in the finish and wanted to cover them up. I was at Rolling Thunder two years ago and saw the bike again and it was still looking as good as the day I saw it almost 6 years ago. If your gonna do a flat paint theme, it might be an idea and ya know it won't scratch very easy. Again, just food for thought.

Now that may have some merit. I shoot past the cop on the side of the road and he sees a red bike go by...insanely exceeding the speed limit. He pulls out and pursues, only to see parked off the road , a rider on a bright blue bike , that he imeadiately dismisses as not his prey...and he continues driving...

Am guessing I will need bi-colored riding gear and helmet...but you know, it just might work...
