Ummmm...

So, I've been stewing over this dilemma all day, getting really pissed off, what with the Softline issues and all (my misfortune on all things electrical, not really people or products), so I sat down on my shop bucket in The Thinker position and thought about the issue.

Of course, nothing came of it until I dropped my MP3 player that I was listening too, yet again! And then the light came on! My MP3 player's jack has loosened from multiple drops and now I have to jiggle it or use universal solvent to make the connection.

BINGO!

Went back to my 2.5mm GPS jack, hocked a luggie on it and slipped the 3.5mm adapter back on and plugged it into the X50: Voilà! Maximum beepage!

Yeaaaaaaah! I got beepage! Yeaaaaaaah!

Jeff, if you read this, check a couple of those 35 cords and see if the adapter is a bit loose, mine is just a bit loose and therein, laid the problem.

I see my 36 cord is to be here Friday. Cool! Just in time for my departure for Bob's ride! :)

Do you have a ground loop isolator cable from Autocom or Escort?

Tim, if the lugie worked maybe you should try KY next time. Just a thought.

Thanks for the "hello", Rogue

Well I was going to make a smart-ass remark about never having any problems with my "overpriced" J&M unit. :D
