I couldn't help but notice how "heavy" the bike felt in the turns.
Any advise?
Advice? Yes: Replace the worn-out tires and make sure both tires are fully aired. Except for a basic setting of the suspension springs and valves as described by FredW, leave the suspension alone for now. If you ride with a passenger, make sure the passenger keeps her weight forward. No leaning back, especially in corners. Sit as far forward as comfortable.

Thanks FredW for an excellent treatise on suspension setup.

When I got my Gen III I noticed that she wanted to fall into turns. And seemed to float about too much.

After reading your article I tackled the suspension set up, front sag was way to soft so I firmed things all the way up, that was too much, backed off one line and measured again all OK. The rear is set to firm and is marginally OK for a 250# rider and crap.

Set front and rear rebound, thought I had it right, played with front compression got it right, then added a couple of clicks to both front and rear rebound to stop porpoising, have ridden 500 miles over the past two days and I'm much happier with how the Gray Ghost rides and turns, dips in the middle of the corner no longer upset the bike and more importantly, this rider. Thanks again.
