Anybody here build a wooden ramp to get their cycle up (about 18") into their shed or building? Need some pic's! I'm going to make it 44" wide while I'm at it so I can drive the mower up there, too....

Thanks in advance,

John

Mmmm. Better make it 45 inches wide. Trust me on this one.

:) . I think he needs to concentrate more on 44" WIDTh instead of 45 DEGREE ANGLES for the ramp!

I had the same situation. But instead of building a wooden ramp, I bought a folding (down the middle) ATV ramp that you would use for pickups. It is 6 ft long and holds 1200 pounds. It's nice and light and when not in use is stood up inside my storage building.

Dayum Ari, you are one sick MoFo. No wonder I like your posts so much..
Ah, a compliment. I'll take it. Thanks.

I'll admit that I had a few chuckles myself putting this one together. There's a certain amount of thrill* that goes with the anticipation of observing the result of the social experiment that is the "iffy" post. Dogpile or chuckles? Sometimes, you just don't know what will happen when you hit "Enter",

(* I believe the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) refers to this thrill as the No Life Whatsoever Syndrome)

I took Ford68xl's suggestion and ordered the bifold metal 7.5' ramp. Thanks.

Happy Motoring!

I say "Dogpile." Do us all a favor and get a life, Ari. You'll find it offers more genuine thrills and doesn't exact the same kind of penalties on thread originators.BTW, I took Ford68xl's suggestion and ordered the bifold metal 7.5' ramp. Thanks.

Sounds like you got what you wanted: a stiff one.

<err>....<cough?>.....

A stiff penalty, that is.

Happy to help!
