Have an upcoming trip to Alaska in 4 weeks and just got a whole bike service. My clutch master cylinder had a bunch of **** in it and after trying to clean it, apparently the seals have failed and it won't hold pressure. The shop said that they can't find a replacement(new) clutch master cylinder in the U.S. and that it could take 60 days from mama yama in Japan. Does anyone know if there might be someone that has one laying around or maybe off a wrecked FJR? Need it ASAP.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

I am curious about the "****" in the master cylinder and how the seals were ruined. I typically see a bit of dark, fine particulate but no chunks. I wonder if they tried using a solvent to clean it up. These generally have a very long service life if not abused. Changing fluid every two years goes a long way to making the MC outlast the bike.

I have extra clutch master cylinders off 05, it will give you easier pull on clutch lever, 06 and 07 has a stiff pull.
