I have a 2004 Silver FJR. Delivered a month ago.
It was ship by Federal Motorcycle Transport. If anyone would like to know?
The ASS HOLES advertise they would use trucks with lift gates to load & unoload.
They did not use a lift gate on pick up. Instead they had a short ramp and two truck drivers forcing my FJR up into the truck. Seller & his father had to help steady the bike or it would have fallen off truck ramp. Thats what seller told me on the phone anyway.
Delivery? They put on a good show "my wife was home" using a truck with lift gate.
Yep made sure to deliver it when I was not home.
Arrived home one day from work and there it was park in my driveway. "Surprize".
Man was I pist. Well happy it made it too me.
Anyway it has a deep scratch on the left side bag. Im thinking of filling it with epoxy & sand it and repaint.
But im not sure of type of paint or if any clear coating is required?
Oh ya seem to have a few rock chips on the front fairing. Might touch them up too?
But there no big deal.
So any advice on how best to repair?
What paint products are best?
