Hi,

I just was informed by progressive insurance that my '05 FJR 1300 I crashed 11/4 is totalled. I need a seat for an '03 to '05 FJR 1300 in "any condition". Stock seat Corbin anything that will fit and the more AFU the better (the bike was in a crash remember). The insurance company is giving me about 4 days to get-r-done and find a seat - any condition. I will pay you for the seat and the overnight shipping to CA.

Thanks, BB III

I check my messages about every 4 hours (forced off from work) so you don't need my number right now.

There will be a "fire sale" of all the farkles I added since 6/11/2005, starting here and then moving to ebay in 1 week with whatever you guys don't want.

Please help,

BB III

Bill,

Why not do a fire sale and let one of us buy the total back from the ins. company (if the price is right). You could list all the stuff that's not included, like a seat and farkles. Somebody here might benefit from a good deal on a rebuildable bike, without having to pay a marked-up price on Ebay later.

You'd have to provide a condition report (probably available from ins. co.) so a potential buyer could make an informed decision. From the pictures I've seen, the bike doesn't look too bad, other than the color. :p

BBIII,

PM sent.

Frame is bent per Progressive Ins & Folsom Cycle, otherwise I would.

Its not that hard to fix a bent frame.

I have had good experiences with DR John Motorcycle Frame in Anahiem Ca.

IIRC, Progressive wanted $7,500 to buy back my '04 that tumbled down the cliff on Hwy 49. And that bike was "thrashed" compared to Bill's.

Look's like a good time to sell off allyou can and send the pieces to Progressive.

Andrew,

It is with a broken heart and sadness in the depths of "Blip Blip's" soul to inform you that the Hole shot system is damaged beyond repair and will be going to the salvage yard in the sky.

EVERYONE ELSE:

How the Fu@k does the request for a replacement seat turn into you VULTURES picking at the bones of a bike that is not even quite dead yet. You are probably looking for the Vicodin/Whisky inspired sale prices. I got drunk one night and typed some funny shit - unfortunately what is said on this Forum, stays on this Forum - forever.

Please knock it off with the PM request for parts. When I'm ready I will post the parts & apparel in the FOR SALE section of this forum, if they don't sell in 1 week they go to eBay.

The same thing happens in the MX world too.. somebody you know wads his body into a pretzel... then the vultures scab in to buy the bike.. while the poor SOB is PT'ing his knee, elbow, ribs, femur. etc.. Gawd this is good stuff... The most important thing - heal your body.. then your mind.. .then get the **** back to riding again.. no offense meant to anyone, just my .000001 worth... sooo, dooode.. got anymore of dem Vicikes left? just kidding B)

Thanks D,

Any chance I can Rat Out (ID) the "PM vampires" and have the benevolent dictator (WC) add an appropriate tiltle to their avatar like this: :vampire: :vampire: :vampire:

Good Idea Brad, but I need the $$ for Mrs. BB III "upgrade" operation that starts tomoroow so I don't have time to fu@k with pulling pieces off of a very hard driven machine and then try to re-sell the stuff on Stockton Blvd. I know that's how it works in Fresno, but not in Cameron Park :D I just want to get it over with, "hard" as that might be

That is exactly what I'm doing, taking the fancy farkles and leaving the rest for the vampires :vampire: :vampire:

I'm losing big $$ on leaving that holeshot system - but it will make Andrew happy and he is such a nice guy..according to Mrs. BB III. Who else tows you bike from Auburn to Folsom and says "we'll get together for dinner soon".

I feel bad. I told one guy that was looking for left side stuff that you might be willing. So, one of those emails might have been sent because of something I said. :(

That said, as much as I hated your holeshots, I'm truly sorry for your loss. I hope you ride again and we can do another unplanned 750+ mile day :)
