Marcus Dairy, for those who have never been, is a Dairy Bar in Danbury, CT where, every nice Sunday morning, bikers have been meeting for decades. You get to see just about every kind of ride & every kind of rider. I have been taking photographs & posting them on my website since 2003 (https://www.molaver.org/md1.htm) but I have never seen this before:

I'll see yer nitrous with an even longer swingarm (in chrome) carrying a bottle on each side, and a cow-spot seat cover! but I don't have the exhaust out the side of the fairing. . . . .

From Thunder Beach in Panama City last September (picture is a clickable thumbnail):

And didja see the 'busa trike that Fencer posted a few weeks ago here???

These mods are actually pretty common among Busa affecianados. One of the primary farkle paths for a Busa is to make it an even hotter drag bike.

With considerably lower weight in stock trim compared to a sport touring type bike, and with rear wheel bhp well north of 160 right out of the box, the Busa is a natural for folks who want to "hot rod" something.

You see them on ebay from time to time. Most likely place to see them is at the local drag strip....or at a hangout where the scoots collect.

Nah, I've been to CT; you have your fair share of wackos up there!!!! :p

But yeah, the 'busa is a starting point for some of the freakiest modified bikes around. How 'bout 265 MPH, and he had to modulate the throttle because it would pick up the front end in top gear??? That vid's been posted two or three times in the images and videos section.

Obviously he needed a longer swingarm  .

Most folks probably know that NOS (Nitrous Oxide System) requires a squirt of fuel to go with the N2O. The N2O is just an auxilliary oxidizer. This allows you to add more fuel than normal air could oxidize on its own, giving you a chance to seriously raise the brake mean effective pressure (bmep).

Of course this leads to loads that were untended when the engine and power train were initially designed. The Busa is able to handle overloads to some extent, but its a potential issue, especially if you are thinking about buying one that's been modded by someone else.

As usual, you pay your money and you make your choice.
