I took my 06 in for it's 8000 service, new tires and cpu today.

I though that it was running fine but I had notice that the handling was off a little.

New spark, new rubber. Sync. Inj. and you would thank this was a new ride.

It is hard tobelive that there is that much change in the ride.

I was almost late for work tonight I just made the ride home 150 miles when it is only

55 or 60 miles stright home. New tires are PR2. :)

mhc, I can relate. Just did my 8000 service and my experience seems the same. Smooth as silk and idle is now smooth, no off idle stumble as before and noticeable power in the midrange and top end as well. I also installed the NGK EXI plugs to replace the stock ones. Keep up the good work. PM. <>< :yahoo:

Actually, I think it sucks that you needed plugs and throttle sync, at only 8,000miles. I was hoping for more like 12-24,000miles, on a Yamaha.

Oh, well. You want 140-something hp on a motorcycle, there may be compromises.

I was wondering about 8,000 on the plugs? But can't argue with the outcome.

getting ready for a trip down south for Streetmaster class next week.

Q. Would it be a good idea to use some gass add. to clean the inj?

thanks. Mark
