Well, pulled the trigger today. I love this bike! :yahoo:

I started on a Kawa ZR750S, then bought a 2002 VFR. Drove that for about 4 years and it started to get a wee uncomfortable. So- I had this idea I wanted something in the adventure touring side of things and bought a 2006 V-strom... which never ended up being my perfect bike really. So, I sold it and bought an 2008 FJR! This is the bike to me that meets all my needs (so far... I'm certainly infatuated with 'er right now  ). Well enough BS... on to the pics:

Yes it is a sweet bike and ride. The more you ride it the more you will come to appreciate it. I am still :yahoo: after owning mine for 3 months and 3k on the OD already.

Enjoy.

Welcome ZW. Glad you made a wise decession and got "the" bike. You can set it up to fit you and farkle away. Get in a ride group near you and just be safe and have fun. As our very own grand FJR guru MM2 would say, you have now been assimilated. PM. <>< :D

Congrats. I know the feeling as I just picked my bike up today to. Looks like our babies have the same b-day. I guess I dont need to post pictures since mine looks just like yours :clapping:
