Well the garage never looked better, need to take some pictures soon. Ride was great, bike is so smooth and quiet.

Hope to see you NorCal guys and Gals on the road this weekend.. :yahoo:

Thanks for the positive input, made the decision very easy..

Congrats to both of you. The Aussies say black is the fastest color for FJRs, so be careful out there! B)

And I believe it....just be careful to keep the bike on the correct side of the road for North America.

Congratulations on the purchase. I assume you went to OTD in Auburn?!?!

If you're going to ride to lunch, the group has a meeting place in West Sac. SOme are probably turning around after lunch and coming back rather than riding another 3 or 4 hours.....

Just came back from a little ride and can’t believe how smooth the power is, and how fast it picks up speed with minimal rpm’s.

I bought the bike from Roseville Yamaha, stopped in Saturday and made an offer, they accepted and I owned the bike within an hour. They’re a great dealer and staff, lucky to have them less than two miles from my house.

I up for a ride this weekend for sure, need to get a rear trunk soon with backrest for my wife, almost lost her a few times tonight. :D

That won't happen if you Armoral her seat. You can lose her on the first take off!

Seriously....many happy & safe miles may you both travel! B)

I hope your wife doesn't read your posts...
I edited that out, thanks..

We're riding Saturday, Sunday my wife is working. Take a few short trips till the TRUNK arrives.. :D

No need to wait, Yamaha says no sustained high rpms during break in. It's not only fine to run up there, it's beneficial for the break in. Just don't hang out at high rpms or stay at the same rpm and drone along. Do some searches on break in, moto man.
