"New" '09 FJR

Spotted this on the local craigslist today, wonder where it's been for the last 6 years. I sent him off an email, out of curiosity, asked him that. Wonder if he will respond!

You're probably scratching your head asking what I'm talking about. I put the craigslist address into the body of the last post but it didn't show up. Still can't copy and paste it into this reply.

It was in the Seattle craigslist under new FJR. A posting for an '09 with only 800 miles on it. Got my attention!

People crack me up.

First of all it's not NEW. Not only is it 6 model years old but it has 800 miles. Second, he is asking waaaay too much. Lots of folks do. Yet if you are going to sell an an 'as new' FJR for top dollar you would think you might want to include some details in the description, and here it comes.......... provide some high quality photographs!

That's waaaay too much money. He'll have it for another 6 years at that price. Maybe he'll drop the price a little in 2021.

Yea....But it's like new ya know, and it's only a few dollars more than a used 2013 (seen them as low as $8500).

I got my '09 4 years ago with only 2500 mi. on it. Thought that was low ? Nonetheless, not good to let a bike just sit. Rubber, gaskets and seals become hard and who knows what lurks inside the gas tank?

Seller must equate low miles with low depreciation. Good luck with that, it's not a collectible...yeesh.
