:clapping: Congrats Trigger! Indeed a very special event. I thought I was done, and (suprprise) we had a little boy last year - and at my tender age of 52. Needless to say it curtailed my riding, and posting, the past year. But, what a special event, and a special gift. He loves to sit on the FJR tank, and making "vrooooom" sounds.

Enjoy, cherish, and best wishes. :yahoo: Jay

Sorry about the no pictures yet. The camera is still at the hospital with my wife, AND I don't have a photobucket account. Maybe something I will try to get around to while at home over the next few days.

Thanks to all for the good wishes.

Abby has some kidney issues we knew about before she was born, and we will be talking to specialists over the next few weeks. nothing life threatening, but something it can be hard to think about as a parent. You want them to be perfect in every way, b8ut with some time, and a little luck hopefully her kidneys will become less of a problem.

As some of you know, my wife and I have been expecting a little girl around the end of this month. Being a typical female, the baby made up her own mind, and arrived at 2:10 pm yesterday. The fact the she was early, by about 3 weeks, is obviously non-typical.
Both the baby, Abigail Nancy, and mom are doing just fine. This being our 2nd child, we were better prepared, and the delivery process was MUCH easier for my wife. Good timing, since it looks like the riding season is getting pretty short here in Northern IL.

Now I just have to get through the next 3 months of sleep deprivation, and then the next 18-20 years, and then, and then, and then........

Congratulations! :yahoo:

naw, you're never prepared for female logic! <G>

Mary

A huge congratulations, man! And did you say her name is Abby? Spelled with no "e"? What a spectacular name!

Did I mention my baby girl is named Abby?

My middle one is Abby as well.

She was a premie, a few complications. 8 yrs later, biggest kid in her class. (she got daddy's genes, poor child)

Yup, Abby with no "E."

Actually her full name is Abigail Nancy Pawlowski. My wife got to pick her name (not that I don't like it) since I pretty much decided on our sons name.

The other good news is that since the baby came unexpectedly, I shouldn't have to miss anytime on the bike as long as the weather holds out. Before the baby was born, my wife and I had agreed that I would not ride the bike for the last few weeks of the pregnancy, in case my wife needed to get a hold of me while I was on the road for work.

Now I should be able to ride until the snow starts, which could be almost anytime time now.

Congrats, Tim. With a girl and boy and you and your wife's hobbies, maybe you can figure out a new kind of biathlon with horses and/or motorcycles, and firearms. Yeah, that's the ticket.
There are many days I would like to do a drive by on the FJR, and shoot the horses.
Congratulations, but don't shoot the horses. Dontcha know that horse-**** and moving hay makes the best boy-friend repellent a Dad can buy?

Hey Tim, conrats to you and the wife both, sounds like you have a great little family started. Best of luck and good health to you and yours. Stan P/S sorry I was so late on responding I've really been trying to keep up better with all the people whom I've meant on here personally, But some of the news here lately has me kinda bummed out and I just haven't been here as much as I should.

Congrats TriggerT.

My second boy-child is due exactly one month from today. We'll see if he follows Abby's example and sets his own schedule right off the bat.

Congratulations Trigger and Mrs. Trigger :yahoo:

Cherish every minute, before you know it they are grown.

Thanks again to everyone for their well wishes. Things are going well, though I can barely even remember what sleep is like. Between the coffee and the Monster energy drinks I am a wired walking zombie. Having a 2nd child is not twice as hard, it is 20 times as hard. Maybe if our son was a little older, he is only 23 months old, things would be a little easier.

I have absolutely NO IDEA how people with twins manage.

I am still getting in some riding time to and from work, so I am happy about that.

I can't wait to see if wither my son or daughter get involved with any of my hobbies. Motorcycle would be great, but if my daughter got into either martial arts, or combat pistol shooting, I could see how there could be certain....benifits.
