Hi,

I charged my battery in my FJR after it sat for a month and wouldn't start. Then it sat for two weeks after riding for a few hours and it wouldn't start again.

I'm thinking I need a new battery.

Can anyone recommend what a 2004 NONABS FJR battery goes for or which one I should get?

I heard Batteries Plus is a good place to buy one, rather than a dealer.

Thanks for the help.

AND, by using our friend Google and typing in: battery site:fjrforum.com, you get all kinds of information.

When I needed a battery I called Jeff. He's the best vendor you will ever deal with!

You might check his post under the "Vendors" page and find how to get the forum discount.

Just to throw another hat in the ring... I happened to talk to Mike Barth at UM earlier today, and he's got aftermarket batteries for about $50 and the Yammy version for $120 (add $10 shipping).
