I mean, I like the FJR riders I've met over the years, but that doesn't mean I want to see them naked.
Oh c'mon, squeezer. Where's your sense of adventure ?!

NICE ride report DE OPP!

+1!
Now with forum members like this, who wouldn't want to go on a group ride for a completely platonic bowl of chowder?! Just kiddin' Mary Ellen, you're both pretty and an upstanding forum member . . . according to squeezer, anyway!

:p

OMG - I had changed that photo (my brain kicked in - too late  ) !

But I haven't changed my mind on the bowl of authentic NECC ....

Good, gotcha! And I haven't changed my mind about the ride, either! In fact, would love to show you (and anyone else who'd like to join in) Kennebunkport and the surrounding area. There are some beautiful sites to see along the way, and alot of history, too.

Maybe I can pick up Charlie Hoss, Sully and Polarize on the way. Whaddya say, boyz ?! Oh, and I could bring Gypsy, CanadianFJR and NSRider (& AM) along, too!

Group ride - 50 / 50 US and Canadian :yahoo:

+100 Outstanding Ride Report DE OPPRESSO LIBER! Excellent photos and prose, you're closing in on OM and dcarver: Nice!

Is it just me, or do any other FJR Forum readers hear the song "Fever" playing in your head, when The Canadian Gals post?

I swear when the "Over The Border" Ladies put responses on here, I can hear Peggy Lee belting out Fever and I'm 21 again!

Jeepers. I wasn't even into the Maker's Mark when I posted that.

Talk about self-promoting and No! I'm not on the make!

I should just shut up now .......

ps - you DO say nice things about us Canadian gals, Don. I think

Mary Ellen, You and Barb really make the FJR Forum fun, I truly enjoy both of your posts. Your mention of Canadian gals just prompted my old senile brain, I need to send Kasey another post regarding her borrowing one of my bikes this Winter!!!

Well, Don - everyone should have a talent

Kasey's a lucky gurl - to be in AZ AND to have your kind offer of a bike to ride :D

Me, too. Hang in there big guy !

Um...... did I just become a Ride Organizer ?

Perhaps we can work it in on our way to NAFO

I know a great place in Gloucester for Chowder. May it's time for a New England Chowder Run tour? Any takers for the spring time?

I don't think we'll get too many more opportunities this month.

Great! I'm passing the Ride Leader baton to you. Or to you and DE OPP

First off, great ride report CJ!

I know exactly where you are coming from about flying solo. There is something that happens every now and then when yopu are riding by yourself where everything just clicks and feels perfect. It's unpredictable when it will happen, but seems to happen much more often when you're on your own. It's one of the reasons I really envy FJReady for his Coast to Coast to Coast adventure this past fall.

Now, a chowder run you say?

Abso-freeking-lutely!! That sounds like it would be wicked good fun.

Yumm!! I loves Chowdah.

I'm game! You know, once most of the road salt has gone! Will give this some serious consideration, can start a new thread in the ride planning section. . . . along with a poll of best possible dates and interest! Hope like hell everyone loves chowder, cuz if we make several stops and only eat chowder, we may need to readjust the sag settings on the bikes! Maybe HaulinAshe could help is with some custom "chowder settings"!
