Just got the call from my local dealer ( Prince George,B.C.) as I had told him I would take a new FJR ,he said Feb as delivery so I was a little surprised to hear that I can pick it up tommorow,I am tradeing in my 2012 FJR any last warnings of the new bike before I take the plunge.....

Go for it! Congrats!

I realize it's a trade in, but is the dealer charging you full MSRP on the new bike or is there some discount off MSRP?

Kinda Sorta I guess ,in short I thought my deal would be about 800.00 beter than it was. He justified it that the new bike has features that the the 2012 does not have and now it's harder to ask too much for the 2012 as they need a bigger spead in pricing. Got the new one home on the weekend and Yamaha did a lot of changing on the 2013 I still have the 2012 in the shop so I can do side by side comparisions easily

Yes I guess you are right but I do know that the 1st year is the biggest drop on a used bike and in B.C. we save the tax on the differance
