Most people here have been riding longer than I so I probably don't have to say this but maybe I do. I've been reading a lot of comfort comments from people with almost no time on their new bikes. Most are coming to the FJR from a different model.

Folks when you get your new bike and it's not instantly as comfortable as you expected, realize that you need to give your body time to adjust and adapt too. :)

Good point.

When I got my 05, one of my first comments was that I was going to get bar risers. A couple of 03 owners suggested I wait a month and then decide. That was great advice, as I ended up not wanting bar risers within the month.

Coming to the 06 from the 05, I'm able to say that I find the 06 more comfortable than the 05. The increased comfort comes from a better seat (IMO) and better wind protection. I left the seat in the low position and have yet to move the screen from the default full down position.

As XLR8 suggests, give the bike and yourself a little time to get acquainted before you start changing things.
