I don't know if anyone has started a thread on this.

I didn't find one with my limited search skills.

The first part of the video is pure hype but the second part shows the actual bike with clues to it's true nature with remarks like;

"Relaxed upright riding position and larger fuel tank."

I read on another site that hard bags will be an option but I don't know where they were getting their info.

Not a direct competitor to the FJR but very interesting.

Very interesting indeed! Its based on the 2010 Z1000 which got universal praise for its motor, suspension, and overall quality but only had a 4 gallon tank. The Ninja 1000 seems to be what the new VFR should have been and probably is going to be a huge hit for Kawasaki.

I predict Kawi has hit a home run with this bike. I like it

Looks like they are trying to break into the street fighter market to me. Either way, nice concept. Probably VFR competition.

Very sexy. It seems like Kawasaki is really listening to their riders and critics lately and are serious about gaining market share. As they creep into other companies' markets that will only benefit all of us as the others are forced to up their game.

Some things in modern life seem to be steadily spiraling down the tube, while others just keep getting better and better. Motorcycles are definitely in the second category. This looks HAWT. I spent a day last month in a shop where they were converting new C-14's into police bikes and shipping them all over. I love my FJR, but. . .

The were setting one up for a Florida P.D. during my visit. I volunteered to ride it there for gas and a plane ticket home. For some reason, they turned me down. :( And I even told them I wouldn't flick on the red and blues. Another very sweet bike, though.
