They are now offering this bulb in an 85/80 watt configuration. Has anyone tried them and are they significantly better than the 70/65's which I think are great?
Thanks.

I was always under the impression that this was a non-linear function. ie a 60 watt bulb gives off about 2X the light of a 40 watt unit. . . Is this incorrect for auto type headlight bulbs?18% more wattage should equal 18% increase in lumen's but not always..whats the spec sheet say?
Couldn't find any spec's, just wanted to see if anyone had tried them and it it's worth the $.They are now offering this bulb in an 85/80 watt configuration. Has anyone tried them and are they significantly better than the 70/65's which I think are great? Thanks.

I am running a Comagination modulator with the relay kit, so probably no heat issues wiring wise. Plastic wise, I defer to the rest of the Forum. And are there are heat issues?
