I talked my local dealer into replacing the rear shock under the YES warranty and got it installed today. It was toast after 25k miles. I also installed prograssive front springs, new rear Avon Storm tire, replaced the recalled ECM and got the bike inspected. I was planning to try an IB ride, CC50 or CC100, depending how I felt but with gas prices like they are and the market killing me, it will have to wait. At my age I can't wait too long.... :yahoo:

Sure, but I can't afford it now. With aftermarket going $700 to $1,000 and gas $3.75 there is no money left for a retired guy on a fixed income
Sure

OK, so how did you get the dealer to replace your shock? I still have my original shock, and it has 40k miles on it. I have YES and if there is some way to get a new shock with the extended warranty, I'm in.
