New Sony Portable GPS

At the current Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony announced a new portable GPS system. Here's some highlights from Gizmodo:

• 1gb of flash memory, pre-loaded with full maps for the continental US
• 3.5 inch touchscreen (too small for motorcycle use?)
• Built-in antenna
• Includes DVD-ROM with full maps of Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico; update the GPS unit via USB
• Automatic day and night modes adapts screen brightness based on ambient light

Gizmodo estimates a $700 street price.
