New sponginess + travel to RR brakes

Most ABS bikes are a requirement. It's in my Stelvio Manual and my haunted Trophy manual..

The triumph dealer tool had a special function to do it, once a year. The tool was developed by a smart cookie.

You can access ABS test and rest functions via a coupler under the RHS Headlight dash plastic.

I have a write up to test out the ABS solenoids, simple kind of,lol lol.

Generally the hydraulic unit never operates, gums up with crud and seizes up, very very costly.

What is this thing you speak of, Ken, bleeding out ABS solenoids?

Just needed to flush old fluid from the ABS blocks - provides a means to "exercise" the solenoids while flushing the lines. More of a concern if you never invoke the ABS while riding.

Perhaps sponginess can arise from mosture absorbed into the master cylinder resevoir. Yeah, the fluid is under the bellows gasket, but 'years' is a long time to keep water-loving brake fluid moisture free.

Moisture in the brake fluid won't cause sponginess in the brake until the fluid has heated up enough to vaporize the water (i.e. boiling temperatures). That is why you can have normal braking when the brakes are cool and brake "fade" as they heated up in spirited riding/braking.
